He's not as important to me as Ian McKellen or Andy Serkis, but it's still nice to know he will be back. :) Plus, I think seeing someone else play the part would seem a little odd now that I've already seen him in the trilogy.

Good! I'd hate to see an actor change if we're already familiar with someone. I'm hoping we get to see the rest of the White Council, too. If so, I hope to see the same actors return (Galadriel, Celeborn, Gandalf, Sauruman). If they choose to include Cirdan of the Grey Havens, that would be fantastic!

By the way, I don't remember, but did we ever see Cirdan in the movies? If so, he was probably in the battles of the Last Alliance.

Agreed. :D Of all the characters that are in the Hobbit as well as LOTR, I really hope Bilbo is the only one who is played by a new actor. If there were any more replacements it would start to seem like a entirely different world.
