Well, I've discovered that there aren't many of the masculine side of Man represented here, and I may have stumbled upon an all-women forum (oh poor me...). But...I didn't see any rules against me signing up, so here I am.
So if your ladyships would be so kind as to welcome this Gentleman, I'd be happy to make your acquaintances. :D
Is this MA? My name is Jim, and I'm a Middle-earth fanatic.

Welcome!
It's great to have you here, and I love how long/detailed most of your posts are. If you have any questions related to the site feel free to ask me. Or suggestions - I love those. :)
Um, I guess our members are mostly female, but it totally wasn't intentional and I didn't notice it until now. It just happened that way for some reason - I'm sure it will even out more as we grow. You could always speed up the process by recruiting your friends. :D

Welcome, Jim! Nice to have you join us here, I hope you don't find the position of Token Male too taxing? ;)

Well, sad to say that I don't know of any real male fans who'd take part in any forums. Actually, the only other real fan that I know personally (male or female) is a friend who currently lives in Greece, and is married, and he probably doesn't have time for forum-posting anyway.
But who knows; I may actually find someone who'd be interested. If I do, I'll bring him along.

Umm, I think Dani.
Well, Dani and Sakura both sound feminine to me, so I'm guessing that person is female.
Only one I can see so far that's male is possibly Crichton. And I told him to get lost if he is!
Just kidding.

I also thought Crichton was, although that's just an assumption. Anyway, Crichton hasn't been around the forums for a week or so - not sure where he went - so you might not get an answer for a while.
I know that Michael Kaiser (http://www.hobbitforums.com/member.php?u=43) is a guy who signed up. He actually hasn't got around to posting yet, but he runs Middle Earth Minutes (which we're trading links with).
But I'm sure there will be lots more once we grow a bit. We've been open for less than a month. :)
