Hello to everyone! I decided to write...something about LotRS {with my terrible english it's bold ^.^}.
So, LotRS will come to the Czech Rpb as well...It'll be in May this year. Rather Thursday, 28th May. Here's official Howard Shore's site about it: <click here (http://www.howardshore.com/works/lotrsymphony/)>.
I think, it is a great occasion and it will be the greatest ordeal ever! Me, my friend, sister and mom have got tickes since December 2008 XD Except choirs and so on here's Ann De Renais (soprano) and Markus Huber (conductor).
Tampere, Finland (1st,2nd May)
Composer Howard Shore's masterwork, The Lord of the Rings Symphony: Six Movements for Orchestra, Chorus and Soloists, gets it Finnish premiere with two concerts in May 2009.
The Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra takes You to a musical journey into the realm of
Middle-Earth, featuring original illustrations and storyboards by Alan Lee and John Howe with over 200 musicians and singers on stage.
Kansas City (7th, 8th, May)
The Lord of the Rings Symphony - May 7-8
Join the Kansas City Symphony on a musical journey into the realm of Middle Earth! Since its premiere in 2003, Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings Symphony has received standing ovations on four continents. The musical experience is heightened with projected illustrations, storyboards and more than 200 performers on stage.
Prague, Czech Rpb (28th May)
Howard Shore, the composer of the musical accompaniment to the bestseller film series The Lord of the Rings, has arranged themes known to film audiences around the world into a full-length concert programme opulently scored for orchestra and chorus. The music will also be accompanied by the projection of pictures with motifs from The Lord of the Rings.
