Avatar/Signature Banners

This is just an idea, but graphic arts (particularly avatars and signature banners) were a big part of the community on the old RQ. I'm thinking about reviving it here, since I have a bunch of free time and have been itching for a reason to work in Photoshop.

So, this is an open thread for any requests for avatars/banner signatures/wallpapers. Just provide me with a subject or photo and any words or decorations you want :)

At some point, I'll post a link to a page with stuff I've done.

Excellent idea. :) I remember the old image request threads on RQ, and all of the pretty avatars that people came up with. I requested one of Gandalf once that I was really happy with. I may offer my own design services later on, when there are enough members to support multiple graphic designers.

Anyway, if you felt like it, I'd be happy to use either an avatar or signature image with Frodo in it; no words necessary, and you can use your own discretion about decorations.

Yep! You can upload it to a photo-hosting site (such as imgur (http://imgur.com)) and put the image address inside [img] tags in your signature. (If you use imgur, you can just copy and paste the text shown under "Message Boards" on the page after you upload it.)
