Hey all-

This is the same rowan from back on RQ, I just now found out about this forum, and I had to join up :) I haven't really been on any forums since RQ, and it's a weird feeling to be back, considering I was 15 when I was on RQ. Hard to believe it was 6 years ago! Here's hoping this forum has the same awesome community that RQ did.

Welcome, rowan! :) It's always great to have more old RQ members around.

Like quite a few people I know, I can be quite nostalgic for the "Lord of the Rings years" myself. It was so much fun waiting for the movie to come out every December, watching it multiple times with a super enthusiastic audience, and obsessing over things with friends and on various online communities.

In my opinion, we've created a great community here already in the year that we've been online, and I'm hoping it will continue to develop in awesome ways. And I know I've said this a lot, but once the project is greenlit, and while it's in production, and especially in between the first and second movies, I think we'll see a very large increase in activity and members.

I definitely agree that as the movies get closer to completion there will be more and more people. Even just looking around the posts on here has made me eager to see them! It's been far too long since I was excited over something LotR related. I'm glad that even though I'm here slightly late, I'll still get to see this place (hopefully, *fingers crossed*) grow and expand :)

Hehe, even I haven't been around for that long here, and I have witnessed a couple of new members joining in as well. I'm sure you will, as well.
