I am sure everyone who read the book or watch the movie imagine him/herself in a story..Watching Born of Hope I like the idea of Kate Madison for introduction herself in a movie. She found her place in the Middle Earth and I was wandering about yourselves? Would you be an Elf, Hobbit, a ranger and live in Rohan, in Grey Heavens, Valinor maby or Dale? Which Age would you choose - would you like to take part in Pellennor battle or rather live somewhere earlier or later than that?
let's make some stories:)

Good question. :)
Personally, however interesting they may be to read about, I wouldn't want to take part in any battles. I think I'd probably like to be a hobbit, either during Bilbo's time or a few generations before it - before Saron's power began to return. I could still have adventures, but they would be less epic (and much less dangerous) than Frodo's was.
What about you?

Even I don't really look one at all, I'd be an Elf, and I'd most likely be living in Rivendell. Why Rivendell? Because it isn't as secluded from the rest of the world as Mirkwood or Lothlórien... The Rangers often come and go in Rivendell, for example, bringing news about what's happening, or at least that's always been my impression. Rivendell feels warm, as well, it always has felt so for me.
Other than that, I haven't really thought it through that much... Maybe we can all write up a profile of who we would be if we were to live in Middle Earth. :D

that would be interesting - Lanyare:) If the rest people would agree..
personally I like to read such a things - when people are creative about themselves:)
I would be a Rohirrim, I admire everything about horses and the hard life the Rohan people live.

Actually, being an elf in Rivendell sounds pretty good too. I've always liked the area around Rivendell and the Misty Mountains in the books, and of course the whole immortal thing would be a nice bonus.

Well, I meant also to write something here before
I admire Elves and Nazguls, I love hobbits and Dwarws, being a wizard would be the best...but for some reason I feel human.
"There was a story about the female healer. She came from the north from forgotten village between Mirkwood and Grey Mountains. As a young girl she travelled a lot to Rivendell and Minas Tirith to learn from the best of her trade... She was also trained to fight and defend herself as the time was unsteady and dangerous...she was with her people when time has come in the Battleof Dale and fought with some before the Gate of Erebor...She survived but memory of war left huge wounds in her soul and body...."
well, it is strange to write it in english ;) it's a part of my old fanfic and I would probably identyfy with this character the most :)

Hehe, my reason for 'wanting' to be immortal, is very simple. There's so much to read, and there will always be so many new things as well... As an immortal, I'd have time to read everything.

I would live in Moria. Get it? :p
Seriously, I'm not really sure - there are a lot of interesting options. Maybe a ranger? Or a dwarf from Dale who designs fireworks and toys of the type given away at Bilbo's party?

I would most certainly have liked to have lived in the Shire. Residing in Hobbiton and exploring the nearby lands as far as Bree i dare say. During the third age would be the most desirable period during the scouring of the shire, so that i may aid my fellow hobbits in their time of need.
