I'm a total fan of The Hobbit. My dad came home with it 5 years ago, (I'm 14years old now) and we had total fun completing the game and I'll forever remember it although my disk 2 spoilt:( and I cannot play it anymore.I've search for it ever since but to no avail.Memories of me and my dad trying to solve lake town's bottle riddle is still there:) and I hope I can be part of this 'The Hobbit' community:D Btw I'm a guy O.o

Welcome, northero! I'm glad you decided to join and hope you have fun here. :) I'm not sure what game you're talking about, but I would guess it might be either this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hobbit_(1982_video_game)) (released in 1982) or this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hobbit_(2003_video_game)) (released in 2003). You might be able to find a copy on the internet somewhere.
Have you read the book The Hobbit? Or just played the game? And you did know that there's a movie of The Hobbit coming out in a couple years, right? :D That's what many of us are most excited about at the moment.

Ah, well... you should be able to find that game pretty easily on the internet if you wanted to replace your damaged discs. If you just go to ebay.com, for example, and type in "The Hobbit 2003," there are plenty of results.
You should read the book sometime if you have the chance. It'll give you a better idea of what to expect from the movie when it's released in a couple years. :)

Welcome, Northero, delighted to meet you.
You must be the first person ever that I meet, who first got to know Tolkien's Middle Earth through a game. For most people it's either the books or the movies. :p
I'm a book nutcase myself, lol, though I do like gaming as well. I don't know the game you mentioned myself, though. It's sort of fun to know that after all these years, the books are still having such an impact on people and are worth being turned in movies and videogames. ;)
In any case, if you ever would decide to read the book, The Hobbit is the easiest one to read from all the others Tolkien wrote.
Oh, btw... I'm a gal. :D
