Born of Hope

The creators of The Hunt for Gollum made a second movie, it seems, which aired only recently...
I have not seen either, myself, but thought I'd share this news since there was a thread about The Hunt for Gollum here as well.

Born of Hope is about Aragorn's descent, mainly telling the tale of his father Arathorn, and his mother Gilraen. I've seen a very small part of it just because I was curious, and it really looked amazing. So I'll be making time to watch both movies in the near future.

Hehe, from the little bit I've seen, it looks as good as any professional shoot, and it fits very nicely next to the trilogy as well.
It's almost a pity they claim it will never be available in any other way. I'd actually gladly pay money for an official dvd-version to add to my collection. They really did make quality stuff.

Are there the same creators for both films? I have read something different but I will check it before I say sometning:P
However, I have seen both of them and i like the Born of Hope much more. It is not the hollywood masterpiece but in some momments I enjoyed it much more than hollywood. The battle scenes were much more realistic when it was not enhanced by computer effects. In some scenes at LOTR you just knew there is a fake (what annoyed me!) . In BOH everything was more simple and more natural. I liked the stoy as well.

If I remember correctly, both films are made by the same creators, though I suppose they will have used different actors.
Still need to watch these, actually... I'd prefer to be able to watch them comfortably curled up on the couch, on my television. Not behind my computer desk.
